Family Owned and Operated for over 40 Years
In 1979, Don Allen decided to leave his position at Cobbledick-Kibbe Glass Company in Oakland, CA to start his own company in Pittsburg, CA where he lived with his family. He founded East County Glass & Window in his garage with a set of tools and a truck.

In 1984, Don decided to close down the company and retire from the industry. At that time, Tim Allen and his wife Deb purchased the company from Don and continued on with Tim managing the projects and Deb managing the finances.

In 2012, Tim’s son Austin joined the Company after graduating from College and took on most of Deb’s Accounting, Finance, Marketing leadership roles. This would make him the third generation family member in the Company.

Today all 3 family members work in the company with the mission of providing fast, affordable, and quality glass service to Contra Costa County and the surrounding Bay Area and a great place to work for their employees.
